Ministry The Pastoral Counseling
Center invites the congregation to join in a covenant of ministry. In this
covenant ministry the Pastoral Counseling Center provides counseling
services and education classes, workshops, courses and retreats for the
congregation.
By entering a partnership,
the congregation is pledging to support the Center by:
- Contributing at levels of: $500-$1000;
$1001-$3000; $3001 and up.
- The congregation also provides access
to the communication network of the church, which includes bulletins,
bulletin board, newsletters, pew racks, etc.
- Provide the Center with a congregant
who can serve on the PCCRV board or advisory committee.
- Provide PCCRV with the opportunity to
be involved in worship services.
- Promote Pastoral Care Week in October.
- On Pastoral Care Sunday, take a "love
offering" for the indigent care fund to provide for those who cannot
afford counseling.
What will the Pastoral
Counseling Center bring to the covenant?
- For all levels, congregants will be
seen as soon as possible.
- Will provide staff consultation,
pastoral care training for staff and/or leadership.
- Brochures or flyers of special church
programs can be displayed on the Center's bulletin board.
- List the congregation as a ministry
partner on the Center's brochure.
- Worship leadership and preaching or
teaching as needed.
- For the educational classes, retreats
and courses, PCCRV will offer according to the following scale:
- $500-$1000 - One of the educational
programs free per year and other programs at a reduced rate of 20%.
Retreats, workshops and courses reduced 20%.
- $1001-$3000 - Two educational
programs free per year and other programs at a reduced rate of 20%. One
free retreat per year. Retreats, workshop and courses reduced 20%.
Assist in developing a course or workshop with the ministerial staff to
meet the needs of the congregation.
- $3001-up - Two educational programs
free per year and other programs at a reduced rate of 25%. One retreat
and workshop per year free. Retreats, workshop and courses reduced 25%.
Assist in developing a course or workshop to meet the needs of the
congregation. Assist in developing with the ministerial staff, mental
and/or spiritual need programs and provide support for the programs.
